Eddie Gowins

August 02, 1958 - March 01, 2019

Eddie Gowins Eddie Gowins was born August 2, 1958. His dad, Paul Gowins, mom Faye Graham Gowins, a young couple, were living in Mt. Olive. His brother Richard
was born in 1961. Eddie went to Mt. Olive Elementary, and later to Gardendale
High School, graduating in 1976. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping
with His friends and family.

He was known in the community to be a very good athlete, excelling in
baseball, basketball, volleyball and softball. He was a big tough guy but he
had a kind heart. He made people laugh, and to know him was to love

After graduating from high school he worked for Florescent maintenance, and
later a career job at ACIPCO. He was a good employee for almost 30 years working hard and moving up to the shipping department through his diligence.

He married Denise Densmore and they had 3 beautiful children, Kristi, Tiffany and Jerrod, 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Butler, Braden Gowins, Rachel Butler, Kyleigh Gowins, Raegan Butler, Colton Gowins and Charlotte Gravlee.

Sadly his life came to an end on March 1, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, his Mom, and 2 grandchildren Rhett Gravlee and Adalida Gravlee.

He will be beloved and missed by all.

We love you Big Ed.

A true "gentle giant" of a man that had an even bigger heart. We had many good memories playing softball together at ACIPCO. Gone from us way to early!

I miss you, Daddy. I find comfort in knowing that you’re no longer suffering & I’ll see you again. Enjoy heaven with my babies. I love you forever!
